White chicks.it is a popular comedy film that was released in june 2004 starring shawn and Marlon Wayans Who Plays 2 fbi agents and professionals of diguise who went unfortunate in a drug bust gone wrong and caused alot of in convenience and  as a punishment they have one last chance to redeem their talents to the federal bareau by pulling off a simple task which was to escort the wilson sisters(blonde twins) who's role was played by maitand ward and tiffany dudek who appeared to be wanted by kidnappers.the only way the fbi agents could protect them was become them.the 2 fbi agents were transformed into two blonde sisters identical to the wilson sisters who set out on a mission to catch the culprit kidnapper .


In the opening scene we see a birds eye view of the city where the camera is slowly roaming over the buildings  to a street view of the location point of the main characters would be introduced .when the main characters were introduce they were similarly dressed and disguised as old mexican shopkeepers with big moustaches ,whiskers ,high foreheads and hairy chests with a very funny sense of humor and silly dancing and singing to catch drug dealers which are also disguised as ice cream sellers red handed.

By doing so the fbi agents actually got the wrong guys because they came in looking like bad guys with a very suspicious behaviour and mean looks when actually they were actually selling ice cream.the ice-cream men had the looks,dress and ascent to make a perfect stereo typical villain.

From all the silly dancing and make up it was very funny to look at and descent enough to laugh at .the over size moustache,the fancy hair do with high raised hair lines and hairy chests was very iconic to their fake characters because they stood out and very easily spotted , where as i'd say the audience got what they expected in the first place because originally the movie falls under the comedy category.

In this scene a very romantic mood ;the fancy restaurant in the back ground ,the romantic jazz music ,the fancy car,fancy suit ,the lighting all makes up the perfect picture for a romantic day.even though the moment seemed very romantic there was another to that scene aswell which is very awkward because fbi agent marcus copeland is disguised as the pretty young lady in the passenger seat which originally is meant to be tiffany wilson in the movie . actor terry crews is madly in love with a man who believes to be his true lover.

As you can see from the mid two of camera the face expression of the actors are different because even though they are in the same place they are in different mind frames so they're experiencing or feeling different emotions. latrel spencer(terry crews) the guy who's sitting in the driver seat has fallen deeply in his emotions because he thinks he's in love with the young lady in his passenger seat but what e doesnt realise is that the looks of his perfect girl is all fake because he's really really sitting next to an fbi agent marcus copeland(marlon wayans) who is disguised as one of the wilson sisters .while latrell is caught up in love/lust marcus copeland (girl in disguise) is deeply terrified because hes with a bigger man than him who is really horny because he doesn't he's really a man but regarding the whole situation marcus has to keep the situation under control because if it gets out of hand things could get really awkward between the two ,also the agent would blow his cover ,the case would calapse and he would be suspended from the force  for pulling the stunt of diguising himself as one of the wilson sisters ,but lets see what happens in the closing scene .

As we can see in this clip ,this is where all the secrets got revealed and everyone confessed latrel is still caught up in his feelings .his love was so so strong he jumped in front of a bullet that the villain fired ,this is also where the villain got introduced because his evil dark secrets came to light .actor john heard playing as warren vandergeld  (villain) was planning from the beginning to kidnap the wilson sisters for ransom because he has gone bankrupt.As time went by fbi ageats were lea closer and closer to his operation because they're disguised as the targeted twins who he plans to kidnap.

When his secret got revealed he was so embarrassed because he got exposed and everyone found out that he's not the person they thought he was .in the still image above which appears to be a mid shot of the character showed us feelings  and his emotions which seemed to be humiliation and anger. His embarrassment turned into fury so he pulled a pistol to shoot the reporter who was recording him then at the undercover in disguise this is where latrel spencer (terry crews) came to the rescue and jumped in front the bullet for his so called lover /future wife.

From the still image above which is a wide shot of latrel spencer when he attempted to jump in front of the bullet for his crush.from his face expression we can tell he's very crazy and stupid because the adrenaline is rushing inside of him so he's not really conscious of whats happening hes jus focused on making sure his crush doesn't get shot.From the props and settings in this still we can tel all of this happened on a very special occasion because the lights are mildly dimmed and the tables are groomed elegantly and the costumes (suit) seemed very expensive ,people wouldn't normally dress like that on a casual day .

now this is where the final secret was revealed which interested because they had a lot of people baffled including his wife and the friends of the twins also latrel.When latrel found out that his lover was a man he was heartbroken and angry.now were all thinking he's angry because his lover is a man but he's actually not bothered about that which is weird ,the audience kind of got mislead in a way .latrel was actually mad because his lover is black not white which is very odd and unusual which is very funnybecause latrel is a black man himself .As comedy film id say the audience got what they expected to see because the movie is very funny,simple and straight forward.

at the start of this clip it has a very distinctive ticking sound which maybe hints that theres a count down and we should expect something big or something unique to happen. as the ticking stops the ticking shows something extra ordinary in lab being analysed which is making the audience think it could be a start of something big and different.after a high pitched  synthesised violin kicks in to carry on the story because it already shown a robot ,so the violin takes us in the next bit of the story where it shows us robots being apart of our every day life then then it slowly increases in frequency and pitch when it shows us that robots are killing off human kind which makes us feel the tension building up.after drums and pianos  kicked in and it shows a character running and dodging falling objects which immediately tells us that tension is present and the actor is in danger.

this clip has a very distinctive orchestral rhythm which is very fast and has a deep brass which indicates tension which in this clip was a combat between humans and a robot.when the music a weapon was risen and the movie  slows down then we heard gun shots in slow motion then a big commotion which creates excitement or thrill.

at the start of this clip we could here a distinctive alarm raising sound with the sound of clock ticking in the background which partly hints that there is a countdown for something chaotic and god forbidden to happen.then as it shows us we see guns blazing then someone gets hurt and a slow sound of a violin kicks in which represents sorrow.

in the start of this clip a classical song by the isley brothers  comes on which plays through out the whole clip shows this movie has a very happy vibe and very laid back.

in the beginning we can   hear a loud bell ringing which maybe is used a countdown then after a slow orchestral sound kicks in with a fast playing violin and slow loud bangs of a drum which kicks the tension up a notch then it carries on getting faster and faster till a drum bangs then it stops which hints hints us something was revealed then the violins started off playing slow again.after bells and drums kicks back in but even louder and i shows the characters at combat which means theres conflict.after someone dies pianos kick in which playing slow which represents sarrow

in the start percussions were being played then noises of drums kicked playing fast wen the warrior was getting prepared for his mission. when then the warrior arrived in the west i heard western music playing which represents the whole theme,then guitars kicked in when it showed us how he was getting used to the west which creates a happy mood then abit of hip-hop music came which makes us rock to it so it creates a happy vibe

Question 6 activity

    In this activity i will be describing Angel's final arrival in the village  and also how the shots were taken and edited etc.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                 

the scene where angel arrived in the village was pretty established because a lot of the background and his surroundings was exposed because the shot was taken from pretty far away .after he Dismounted the horse the shot began to get closer and closer and it also forms a pattern by repeating the same sequence .first the cameras are placed at mid-shots which means the characters are place in the middle then the camera zooms in then the pattern began to get faster and faster as the villains were being introduced .

                           Clip analysis using terminology

In the beginning of the clip we hear a piano playing which gives it a calm start. As the horses get close the pitch and the frequency increases which creates tension and gives us a slight idea of whats gonna happen next . Also as the pitch and frequency increase we hear horse shoes and the volume of that also increases as they get closer which builds tension even more .after all that the drums kick in with a loud bong but slowly which kinda makes us think something is gonna happen which makes us pay attention even ,its kinda used similar to a count down.
  as the horses carry on a lot of diegtic sound starts to come in such as the sound of the guns ,breathing of the actor(speech\dialogue),the crow  ,neighing of the horses ,the opening of the door and the smashing of the glass which mixes with the non-diegetic sound such as the piano,violin, base and drums.from the heavy breathing we can immediately that someone is participating in high intense which causes heavy breathing which in this case would be running ,after we hear the clicking of the guns and silence of the actors which adds another piece to the puzzle and tells us they are calm and ready to kill.Couple seconds after we hear opening of the the door and smashing of the glass which tells that the actors were in the middle off a hot pursuit.

insidious chapter 2; a popular horror movie that was released in 2013 on the 13th of september that everyone seems to be talking about .

this movie is set up in a basic average family which shows us the innosence and normality of the family that lives there which was invaded by a devilish godmother which makes the lambert family curious to discover a mysterious childhood to see why there being haunted  by a devilish which brings them even deeper and deeper into the spirit world as they go along but there seems to more problems after solutions and more questions after answers .  through out this movie we see  we bright colours of the lambert family which represents happiness  and also the innocence of the family then as the movie goes by and more characters  get introduced  the we see a lot of dark colours in the background on costumes and surroundings which sets the vibe and gives us a brief  sense of whats going on which makes us start to panic or maybe even predict whats gonna happen. 
    i also realise the haunted characters have very pale make or white mask mostly with dark clothing which brings out the character or personality and gives us a sense of who their meant to be, if u realise all of the villains have very absurd make up and very mean face expression on the other hand the victims looks like every day humans that we see on a day to day basis because they have formal everyday outfits and their hair styles are very simple and decent ,that helps us to differentiate the bad guys from the good guys. 

through out the movie we a lot of emotion being expressed by the characters by face expressions ,hand gestures and body language.

on the pictures that shown we can see two different characters from the movie ,sterotypically we can tell straight away that character with a sarcastic look on his face is the play the role of villain by looking at his hair do ,make up,background ,his face expression and his clothing which is full black which describe his personality and intensions which is very dark , on the other hand if we look at the other picture compared the other photo the background is much brighter ,his clothes are coloured unlike the other character  which tells he has got a bright sense of humour but also has frown as a face expression which maybe tells us that he's fed up or he's a victim of the whole situation, we can also assume that by also looking at the creature in the background which looks very angry and it has an intension to do something bad him.
   the positioning of the camera ables us to see every detail in the picture and gives us a brief story within it self for e.g. the second photo.the camera is positioned so we see the actors,the background and very little details such as face expression.by just seeing that still picture our very first guest or impression is that the character at the back has and intension to lash out against the character upfront.
